Special Experience in the Casino

I shared my sports lottery experience before. So this time I want to share my experience in entering the casino. It was when I was only 16 years old. I secretly walked into the casino with my dad and my mom, although I looked like a man over 18 years old. I played the slot machine with my mom’s member card. I won hundreds of Hong Kong dollars unexpectedly. However, the attendant walked toward me and asked me to sign my name if I would like to receive the money. Then, I could only let my mom to sign for me. The attendant quietly asked me that if I was over 18 years old. I didn’t answer her, but I didn’t continue playing as well. Afterwards, I found that they could control whether I could win a prize or not, because other people who won the money didn’t have to sign their names as I had asked to do. I thought they just wanted to use some money to politely ask me to leave.

This week I want to share what you have to prepare before gambling. It is easy to enter the casino, as long as you are over 18 years old. However, it requires a lot of courage to really sit and bet on the table. Because you have to bet at least three hundred Hong Kong dollars, equal to about NTD1000, in every round, it is quite a large amount of money. Furthermore, you won’t only play a round and then leave without keeping gambling. Therefore, it needs not only enough money but also enough courage to enter the casino for gambling. We also need to prepare for a pleasant and relaxed mood to face a good or worthless hand. Because I found that when one is the bad mood owing to losing money, his or her luck would get worse and the bad mood would also affect one’s thinking. What’s more, one will lose more on account of vicious circle.

Why gambling is so attractive to people

This time I want to talk about why gambling is so attractive to people. Everybody hopes to reap without sowing. Thus, that’s why many people are willing to try gambling and I think it is no problem that people dream to earn money without working. Therefore, the casino catches the human nature: when you win, you’ll feel that it is a profitable game and decide to play again and again; but, when you lose, instead of thinking that you’ll keep losing, you’ll try to believe that you will win ultimately. My experience in gambling

I want to share my experience in gambling this time. For my first time to contact the sports lottery, I bought the sports lottery for 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, which was held from June 12th to July 13th. The opener game was Brazil competed against Hrvatska and before the game all experts were unanimous in thinking that Brazil was going to win. However, one player in Brazil made a terrible mistake to accidently kick the ball into his own goal when the game just started for only 11 minutes. I was really astonished and nervous because it meant that if Brazil couldn’t goal for more than two scores, I would lose this game. We have to understand first that it is hard for the soccer games to gain one score, not as easy as the basketball games. It is often to find the situation that both of the teams don’t score one in the soccer gamers. Finally, it was Brazil that won the game. The experience let me realize how much courage I needed to have when I gambled. It was only a 90 minutes game, but a game that determined thousands of money to win or lose; the money was probably many people’s salaries for several days. (209 words)

Sic bo(骰寶)

This week I want to introduce is Sic bo. There are many kinds of ways to wager for players. Wagering the total numbers odd or even and the total numbers big (ranging from 11 to 17) or small (ranging from 4 to 10) (1 in picture) are two kinds of the lowest loss percent at odds of 1 to 1. Also, you can wager which side of the number that three dices will show.(2 in picture) For example, if you wager 1 and three dices appear one dice of 1, then you got loss percent at odds of 1 to 1. Besides, if it appears two dices of 1, the loss percent will increase at odds of 1 to 2; if it appears three dices of 1, then you may get the loss percent at odds of 1 to 4. The loss percent is lower if you choose the number which is more close to the middle number, like 10 or 11 because they have higher probabilities. On the contrary, 4 and 17 have lower chances so the loss percent is higher at odds of 1 to 60.(4 in picture) Wagering all correct numbers of three dices has the highest loss percent at odds of 1 to 180.(6 in picture) However, because of its very low probability, after seriously calculating this way is also the easiest way to lose money. Roulette

This time I want to introduce about roulette. I think it is the easiest gambling games because it doesn’t cost you too much brain. The roulette is based on luck just like bingo. There are numbers on roulette from 0 to 36. Sometimes, there are 37 numbers, 0, 00 and 1~36. Number 0 is green; the left numbers are red and black, being put in order. There are many ways to gamble it and wagering only one number (second picture A) has the highest loss percent, at odds of 35 to 1. Besides, you can wager two neighbor numbers (B) or you can wager a row of three (C), four (E),five (F)six numbers (G). Of course, the higher winning rate you have, the lower loss percent it will be. Furthermore, you may also wager a line of twelve numbers (L) or wager the number odd or even (J), black or red (I). They pays 2 to 1.(159 words)

I want to introduce first is sports lottery. It has many kinds of ways to play. Players can guess which teams will win, guess the final score of the game, or even guess the score odd or even. You may search the Internet if you like to understand more.
We all know that sports lottery has been issued for many years, and I believe that everybody might have heard it. I consider that there are three reasons why sports lottery is not as popular as common lottery. First, sports lottery has low loss percent. It can’t benefit a lot like lottery which can make one hundred dollars to millions and millions. Second, balls are round so that nobody can certify which team will be the winner. Last but not least, legal sports lottery’s loss percent is lower than illegal one because sports lottery are kinds of public welfare. Therefore, people will tend to choose illegal instead of legal sports lottery.

Why I choose this topic

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, many family sometimes gamble for fun. They earn extra money by playing poker or mahjong. Actually, there are other interesting gambling games. Such as Sports Lottery, roulette games and Bingo. I want to introduce these more to everybody.

I took a voyage on Star Cruises during summer vacation. And I also entered the casino there. Therefore, I want to introduce some gambling games which I saw in there to everybody.

The reason why my topic is Gamble “for fun” , not Gambling games is that I want to tell everybody that you can play for fun, but not be addicted to gamble. You can take some money to play, but tell yourself if you lose you will not keep playing. Many people keep playing when they lose, unfortunately, most of them lose all of their money at the end. What is worse, some people commit suicide. So, I have to emphasize again, gamble “for fun”.
